STT is excited to report on our beta program release of the "Wipe and Go" collection, so far, it is successful and achieving results for the professionals and consumers alike.

 

    Here are a few important points about the sealing program.

  • Wipe and Go means $Green$! Strong savings in labor costs and expenses
  • APPLICATION Guildelines:
    • Apply enough sealer to be able to leave an even sheen to dry on the material.
  • Leave. Seriously, don't fiddle with the product as it dries.
  • Return later to judge desired repellency effect.
  • Make note whether there is a haze to clean.
  • If no haze and repellency is adequate, sealing is complete.
  • If no haze and repellency is not adequate, Reapply the sealer.
  • If you see a haze on the surface, simply wipe it off with a dry micro-fiber rag.
    •

 

The savings reported so far are more than we projected. We have reports of up to 2/3 of what you are currently spending on labor and expenses. The yield of the sealer is increasing, and finally there are some interesting uses being reported with the color enhancer.

STT Cleaners and Sealers terms and meanings.

SEALING TERMS
TERM MEANING
ABSORPTION by WEIGHT A percentage value used to assess a porous hard surface's ability to absorb liquid or gas. This is an important expression when cleanliness and suitability are judged as important as aesthetics. The percentage is derived by comparing the dry material weight to the wet material weight.
COLOR ENHANCE A phrase used to describe a visible difference a hard surface receives when wet. The positive result of permanent wetting is characterized by visibly distinctive color as compared to the dry surface. There is no change in the finish, whatever the finish is before wetting is what it is after wetting.
GROUT RELEASE Phrase used to describe the use of a penetrating sealer before grouting a modular assembly. The benefits are an easier to clean surface, better grout economy, and better grout consistency.
"NANO...." We use nanotechnological as a buzzword in marketing to connote really small compounds and intelligent design. Our sealing and cleaning products are examples of nanotechnological products.
OLEOPHOBIC A phrase used to describe the solids in our line of sealers. The word means the solids repel BOTH oil and water based staining products.
PENETRATING When used in the context of sealers it means sealing without leaving a surface coating. There are two types of sealers, topical sealers and penetrating sealers. Both types are used to repel substances. STT SEALERS™ are PENETRATING sealers.
SEALED SURFACE A phrase used to describe the changed nature a hard surface receives after the application of a penetrating sealer. The phrase also is used in the context of sanitizing. A porous hard surface must be smooth, free of cracks, crevices, and open seams before it can certified cleaned and ready for sanitization.
STT SEALERS™ Our line of nanotechnological oleophobic penetrating sealers. They are safe, low odor, and meet all national and international standards. STT SEALERS™ protect and make porous hard surfaces easier to clean.

Explanation of stain removal options Stain Removal Products and Information.

SCCLeaN A fast evaporating ready and safe to use oil removing solution.
STT EARTH A combination of three absorbing minerals infused with our oil zapping fluid.
POULTICE A moist mass of minerals applied to a stained surface. The POULTICE covers the stain and is left for 24 hours then removed. The stained surface appearance improves as the poultice absorbs the stain.

CLEANING TERMS
ALKALINE aka BASE Alkaline refers to an aqueous solution having a pH greater than 7 or having a [OH-] greater than 10-7.
DISINFECTANT A cleaning product designed to destroy or irreversibly inactivate infectious fungi and bacteria. Please remember with porous> hard surfaces, the spores of fungi and bacteria can still exist within the surface even after using a disinfectant.
LEAVE ON Colloquial expression used to describe STT Sanitzer™. To receive the benefit of sanitization, spray and LEAVE STT SANITIZER™ ON the surface. The treated surface is free of bacteria until used again.
STT CLEANERS™ Our line of products which help people prepare and maintain porous hard surfaces. STT CLEANERS™ are used before and after sealing. The end result is a surface free from dirt, marks, stains, and pathogens.
STT SANITIZER™ A leave on the surface 200 ppm active quaternary product which eliminates 99.999% of bacteria and molds like Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus bacteria within 60 seconds.

General TERMS
FINISH A general expression used to ascertain or define the state of a hard material's surface. The different states are usually polished, honed, flamed, brushed, hammered, and textured. Each finish may have different maintenance requirements.
MOSAIC A decorative design made from small colored pieces of stone or tile.
STT SYSTEM™ The coordinated use of STT SEALERS and CLEANERS™, STT Practices™ and STT Programs™ to achieve a goal. Porous hard surfaces and the expectation of long service mandates a coordinated system for success.
STONE/ROCK (geology) A naturally occurring aggregate of minerals.
